you must be kidding! If Moynihan hadn't the good sense to die, they would have hauled him out into the street and burned him alive in a cage for blasphemy. Moynihan is an apostate.

Yes, Moynihan had the poor taste and indiscretion to use actual data on the state of the black family, and he didn't fudge the results. For this unforgivable descent into honesty, his name became mud among his fellow liberals (which he remained throughout his life).
