Say what you want, but she is out there raking in the dough and we are pecking out notes on a WalMart keyboard in the basement.
Speaking of pecking, my uncle Louie (call me Letsgo) Lozko was into bantam chicken ranching. He was always ahead of his peers, inventing things and refining the art of chicken ranching.
One time he developed a process for inserting small objects into eggs. Rings, trinkets, coins. He displayed these "treasure eggs" as he called them at the Cook County Fair. "Go ahead, pick an egg, any egg. Everyone is a winner."
Trouble soon arose when the son of a local school principal bit into one of the eggs and broke both front teeth.
He had to give up another project of his, that of training the chickens to lay eggs in various shapes other ovoid, and sell three hens to pay for the dental work.
