It does not matter what the odds are in a revolution for freedom.

When all is said and done, you will probably be confronted with two choices in the face of tyranny: fight and possibly die; or surrender, become a slave and probably still die.

Those who argue against self-defense are in most cases trying to avoid the inevitability of this choice by creating non-options and non-solutions out of thin air. This is the opposite of realism. Physical revolution requires a methodology of adaptivity and courage. Fear has no place in the mind of a freedom fighter, and nihilism is just as foreign to him. The goal of liberty will be accomplished. Totalitarians will be defeated. The size of the movement is not a factor. We expect that we will be in the minority. There is no other outcome but victory because we will allow no other outcome. Period. If we are proven wrong, then we are proven wrong; but it will not be due to a lack of trying.

Your Say

Kinda silly. First, you have to define freedom, liberty, and the constraints which liberty puts on freedom. Then, how are you going to impress liberty upon a people who don't know what it is, or don't like it? We don't need a revolution, but a dissolution. Freedom of association must include the freedom to not associate.

One probably does it the same way the Muzzies do it. Either you are with me or you are against me.

When the shooting starts, there is only one side: Mine.

Hopefully you'll not be shooting at me cause if you are you'll lose, at about 1000 yds. :-)

The world began the day I was born.

james, those concepts were clearly defined prior to the American Revolution. Madison, Jefferson, Adams, a number of patriots wrote well and the pros and cons of a revolution were weighed. The decision was not pulled from thin air by a couple of hotshots that wanted to dump tea in a harbor and storm barricades. The signers of the Declaration of Independence were not fools.

Rather, all they knew was that they had committed High Treason against Great Britain and their sovereign, King George the 3rd, by signing their name to a document that renounced their allegiance to their mother country. "We mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor" is Jefferson's final sentence; for over 20 of the signers, that pledge would take on a woeful meaning in the years after 1776.

9 signers paid the ultimate sacrifice - their lives - for the cause of Independence. 17 (almost 1 for every 3 who signed) lost every penny they had and every piece of property they owned. Yet not a single one reneged on their pledge to stand "for the support of this Declaration".

ghost: Easy, boy. No need to get up on your hind legs here. Nobody said anything about shooting at you. I'm with VW on this one, with me or against me. Why would we shoot at you? Hopefully you will stand with us rather than against us.
It is possible for a number of freedom-loving individuals to stand together against a common enemy.

If you choose not to stand with me then stay out of my way.

Ghost, Chas said it, I figured you would be on the proper side knowing your beliefs. You'd have one hell of a time hitting me if I standing two feet to your left and 3" behind you. That kinda makes us on the same line.

My clan does not play. When they like you they stare at you with cold, mean, dead expressions.
When they don't like you they just get up and leave without saying a word. Very dpjk.

That’s Don’t Play, Just Kill.

The goal of every combatant against forces such as islam or marxism should be to kill and destroy the leadership and all that those f'ers represent. Make those leaders pay in blood and guts, pain and horror and don't be particular about methodology. Just do it and keep doing it and eventually those a-holes will lose all desire for their causes. Might take a while but what have we but time and lots of it.
