Regarding the unsurprising slaughter in Paris:
Diversity is a disaster. Why people cannot see this is a mystery.
A country can ignore an unfortunate reality, but it cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring it. Why governments allow and even encourage immigration of incompatible populations is a greater mystery. Few things cause more misery, hatred, death, and destruction than does diversity. One may wish it were not so, but it is so.Fred On Everything: Diversity: Koom. Bah. Humbug

The Establishment is soft on Muslims BECAUSE they are so foreign to our land. The Eatablishment members are trying to prove to each other, at the nation's expense, just how "open-minded" they can be.
If there were a group more dangerous, less possible to assimilate, or more destructive The Establishment would/will support importing them to The West. Consequences will not change The Establishment for they take pride in operating on a level far above mere consequences, especially when those consequences hit unwashed masses. The few members of The Establishment that are injured by consequences see it as a noble sacrifice. The only option is to replace The Establishment with other people.
