Pelosi buys dockside condos on the ocean, and now Gore is investing in down.

Don't look at the face, watch the hands.

When Al Gore was born, there were 130,000 glaciers on the globe.

Now, decades later, there are only 130,000 left.

The Goreacle impersonates an icicle.

"So cold. So very cold. This was not supposed to happen. Where is the prophesied warmth? Can't feel nuts. [And I usually can feel nuts.] Must keep going. Hands frozen. Nose gone. Must keep going. Light of distant House of Pancakes. Crawl, Al. Crawl like you've never crawled before, except that one time with Bill."

Yep, 'bout 6 months from now.
Right now we have -10, will be -25 by 6am - that's a bit nippy.

The perfessor said Pancake House.

There is a cycle of global warming that affects all of the earth every six months. It is continuing and showing no sign of letting up. We must all prepare for the effects of this warming cycle by getting light weight clothing, seeking shade and the judicious use of airconditioning and cool beverages to make it through. Be brave my fellow citizens.

Well, it is a toasty 4° here in upstate South Carolina; temps are going to soar into the low to mid 20's before the day is out. Oh well, I won't have to worry about warm beer.

Coming from northern Vermont this is merely brisk. But here, it is serious, homes aren't insulated for this kind of cold.

tripletap: good catch. I think this phenomenon is somehow tied to the days getting longer or shorter. And then, there is nighttime. Jeez, too many things to guard against. I think I'll stay home on the couch watching the Polka channel.

Hey, there is some new guy on TV. He's got a good chance of becoming big. Plays some kind of piano that he carries on his chest. Lawrence something or other, he played a couple of polkas too. Only thing I didn't care for was the sappy bubble champagne thing.
