2 of 35 Things Wrong With America [Bumped]

23. Having to constantly be exposed to Spanish announcements, signs, and advertisements because immigrants are too lazy to learn English.

24. Welfare state that redistributes money from hard-working provider men to a growing population of single mothers who are subservient to the state instead of husbands. -- Three Kings

Your Say

"subservient to the state instead of husbands."

Some women might find that horribly offensive and shocking, a throwback to knuckle dragging of days as far back as 1990, or even earlier!

But consider: which is worse. To be subservient to a loving husband in a committed, personal and accountable relationship with you... or a host of faceless bureaucrats and government drones; unaccountable, unknown, without relationship, and without personal knowledge?

I can't see how being submitted to government is somehow more liberated and enlightened, or in any remotest sense beneficial. No matter how many AA batteries you burn out, its not going to be the same.

Just to take the other side for the hell of it, how many AA batteries come home drunk, slap the snot out of you and demand another beer and dinner-or else. How many AA's try to boff the baby sitter or your sister.

How many AA's drink up the paycheck, then try to turn you out to make money for the football pool.

But then AA's will give up the ghost just before the Great One arrives on that Lightening Bolt.

You win some, you lose some. For most of them you don't even get tickets.

VW, just to take the other side, how many men do you think are really assholes to that extent?

The great majority of the generations XYZ-whatever have had it drummed into their little heads that the picture you paint is the true state of non-emasculated men. Being incapable of thinking for themselves, they believe it as the only opinion they've ever been fed. I call bullshit.

I'd never deny that there are violent assholes among us (a great many of them female,) but I've personally never encountered any women who really had any reason to consider themselves victims - unless they were so liberated that they enslaved themselves to black men to get even with their parents. And for the at least the last 45 years, an ocean of sympathy was as near as the telephone.

Further enslaving themselves to the government represents nothing more than the triumph of "feminism," where no woman is responsible for anything including her own feelings, and daddy is the cause of cramps, hangnails and earthquakes. Virtually every woman I've encountered since 1970 has been incapable of growing up, and intent on avoiding it while insisting on the right to her Princess-hood. And their progeny are unspeakable.

There are good women out there. I've seen 'em, always married to somebody else and sure of their place in the world. Their husbands are hardworking and lucky as hell, and they every one of 'em know it.

Thenkew, thenkew veddy much, 31 years next month, but I wouldn't recommend it in this day and age.

The laws are stacked against the men. With all the evidence of this over the past coupla decades it is an act of voluntary insanity for men to marry now. If I was single I'd never get married, hell, I wouldn't even let one live with me permanently, they have common law marriage laws that will drag you though the ashes of your burnt out existence.

Fuck that.

And I certainly wouldn't suggest having a child either. jayziss. That's a certain ticket to the poor house and enslavement for a quarter century at least.

That whole *legacy* thing is way over rated.
No, putting up with 20 years of disrespect from mentally handicapped people that don't deserve it is not rewarding in the least. We had 1 and that was 2 too many.

One more thing, get the gov't out of marriages and you'll see good marriages soar. There is no authorization in the constitution for the gov't to have any say about marriages at all.

Or, if gov't is involved, have all marriages set up like corporations with all the sordid details spelled out in a legally binding contract.

Rob, I don't know what part of the country you live but down here in Southland, the news has enough of those goings on to prove my point.

In Greenville, SC, you'd think it was a competitive sport. Actually, most of the time they just shoot the bitch. Or she stabs him. Or they gang up on the sheriff when he shows up and it really gets going. then we hear what good people all the individuals were.

Or like that broad in Scranton, PA who got a case of the ass at her AA's and dumped a pot of spaghetti and meatballs over his head, THEN stabbed him. Third degree burns and knife wounds. Guess he shoulda got hiself his own beer, ya know.

This stuff occurs on Fifth Ave in NYC too, they just money it to keep it on Page Six of the NY Post.
And they can afford the high priced lawyers to put the hush on the press.

All that wife beating nonsense is way over blown. Hell, they even make a shirt named "wife beater" as part of the joke. Yeah, it happens, but not nearly to the degree the fems would have you believe. I lived in the DEEP south for 40 years and rarely heard of it and when I did it was mostly from people you expect that sort of behavior from. Civilized folks? Hardly at all. They just hire lawyers and move on.

Bre'r Woodchuck,

I think it has less to do with the parts of the country I live in than the neighborhoods. I've seen the news, too, but more often I've seen it being made rather than hearing/reading police reports.

Coupla things: the instances you cite all involve white trash or their dusky brethren. Further, trashy wimmins (like any guy with an ounce of experience and the ability to read would steer clear of) regularly go crazy with frying pans and hot grease - with of course the un-cited addition of crystal meth and cheap whiskey. Except they get a free pass because, you know, victims. If the recognition of that likelihood isn't sufficient to keep a guy's pants zipped, I'm 'fraid he's on his own.

The Narrative doesn't include much of this, does it? Guaranteed any "feminist" who gets her facts from NPR has never known anybody with a pretty face and no teeth. Oh no, "feminism" is all about beating up her college-educated breadwinner when he gets home with the necessary. "Look at what it says in the New York Times about men beating up on women. Aren't you ashamed? Now clean that bathroom."

So yeah, I know it happens. I also know I've sacrificed and sweated a good deal to ensure some distance from it when it does. And some of that distance includes not allowing any more crazy wimmins into my pants.

The crowd of which I mentioned in Greenville (city and County) do have a a surfeit of melanin. Areas of Spartanburg isn't missing a beat either.

That kerfuffle in Scranton was related to me by my buddy who plucked that out of the local sheet.

La croûte supérieure aka the Beautiful People just get this crap hushed by the lawyers. How many ashtrays did Hillary toss at Bill in the White House during those Bimbo eruptions. Wonder if the Wookie smacked the snot out of that half wit twit.

If you have enough money, they lawyers hush up the tabs, until something like the "Smoking Gun" gets wind of it.

Every family has/had a crazy aunt in the attic and a perv uncle in the basement. They got loose at some time or another.

I've heard the wimminz is more violent by 2:1 but the menz rarely report it.

Reporting a wild bimbo is politically incorrect.

How long have you been a cop, Vermont Woodchuck?

Posted by: Christopher Taylor [TypeKey Profile Page] at January 16, 2015 8:51 AM

I worked for the US Marshall Service for a couple of years after I came back from the Nam. Warrants out of the Brooklyn Fed Building.

Decided I liked doing photography and painting so that's what I did. But that starving artist shit sucks except in books, so I did bail work and repo occasionally.

I developed three serious addictions in Vietnam: Wearing clean clothes, living indoors and eating decent food at least twice a day. Money is necessary for those.

I get the feeling that people believe I and others get emotions into this and other types of 'work'. Not a chance, that's a ticket to burn out or fast death. If I took someone's car, it's because they didn't pay their bill. Everyone has to pay their bills, including me.
When I put the arm on a skip, he/she was going to pay for their misdeed. Everybody pays. It's a job. A mechanic doesn't get emotionally involved in tightening a nut or selecting a bolt.

Cops that get a woodie writing tickets or "keeping the peace" shouldn't be on the job.

There are two types of people in this world: Assholes and not assholes. That's a good enough division.

There are two types of people in this world: Assholes and not assholes.

Threadwinner, by acclamation. That's the quintessential political argument right there.

Its a constant danger with law enforcement; the danger that being exposed to the worst of humanity day in and day out you begin to suspect or even believe that is what all humans, or even the majority are like.

You aren't getting a secret glimpse into the actual, hidden lives of most or even all people as law enforcement. You're getting an open view into the worst of humanity.

My uncle Letsgo Lozko, during his bantam chicken raising days, advised me:
"Never lay down with a woman that has more troubles than you."

It took me a couple decades to figure out what he was talking about.

Chris, I might sound rather blasé about dealing with people who are less than civil. Only after one walks through the fire pit can the heat be appreciated.

It is internalized. Police, first responders to accidents, combat troops and abused kids will encase feelings and go about life. You see the bad side, you know what people are capable of doing to one another. And do it on a regular basis or there wouldn't be any nightly news.

How do they deal with it? Many don't. They eat a bullet or learn how to tie good knots.

Ooo bla di, ooobla da. Life goes on.
