Your Say

But, but, but, what about the loss of socialization?

The kids needs to interact with a variety of people - their peers (diversity, multiculturalism) so that they will be able to compete in the workplace, so how are homeschooled kids going to get that exposure when they're looked up on a compound all day with their KKK, gun-nut, beer swigging, incestuous spawners?

I swear, I can't believe the gov't hasn't shut em all down yet.

"I swear, I can't believe the gov't hasn't shut em all down yet."

Read what is available regarding Common Core. There will be no home schooling allowed after that system is fully implemented.

My wife is an expert on Common Core if there is such a thing and has a ton of written material specific to that control system. Nineteen eighty-four on super-steroids.

SO, a clear demonstration of intellectual supremacy over "students" of a similar, or greater, "social" aged level will exempt mandatory State Approved education "style", as well as Federal "education" taxes....right?

ghost, you really think these kind of people home school their kids?

"... their KKK, gun-nut, beer swigging, incestuous spawners?"

you are absolutely correct on the socialization or lack of it with home schooled kids. the folks I know that home school have their kids in extra-curricular activities like sports, church, field trips.

There are some social activities that are no good, like the drugs, sex and violence.

Gosh, I wonder what kids outside the mandatory public education institution get to eat for breakfast, and/or lunch?

@chas, I forgot the /sarc part.

Home schooled kids are NOT prevented from using any and/or all of the public school facilities as they see fit.

You're right, because the parents of home school kids really care about them they have them involved in a myriad of activities and learning experiences, whereas public school kids are relegated to the same ol' boring and limited routine that keeps changing to the worse as time flies by.

Seems like the public schools are no more than expensive gov't mandated conveyor belts linking cribs to prisons.
