The Clear Message

I see democrats and their apparatchiks are hard at work spreading a meme of “the clear message from the American People is that both sides need to work together.” Such a silly thing to say. I suppose there’s difficulty in the psychological layer somewhere, interpreting a “clear message” that you suck and you have to get the hell off the stage. House of Eratosthenes

Your Say

That's right, the progs do suck and this plea for "working together" is exactly what effeminate louse losers say they want when they're shown the door. Otherwise, not so much.

"Working together," as in the shenanigans used to ram through Obamacare against bipartisan opposition, right?

When the moral adolescents are in charge, the last thing they're interested in is "working together". When they lose, they demand compromise.

Worst part: their idiot opponents in government (and much of the pundit-sphere) almost always grant them their wish.

Big, BIG mistake.

Hand them the agenda. Tell them to go along or get out of the way.New Day-NEW WAY!

Yeah pretty much the mandate, if any, was to stop the Democrats. It wasn't so much "we love what the Republican Party wants" but definitely "we're damn sick of the Democrats"

It makes sense. If you haven't had a job since 2007 and meat costs 3 times what it did then, watching politicians focus on the size of a soft drink cup will just piss you off.

The Republican voters go shopping for a lapdog and then expect their pet to be a ferocious guard dog. This GOP will roll over and try desperately to earn belly rubs from the NYT and MSNBC, that's what they do.

I often use quotes from others because my writing is not always concise and lucid.

Here's as clear a message as the Democrats need:

I am tired of fooling around, he said. As for the rights of anyone, tell your people they can go fuck themselves. (The Colonel by Carolyn Forche)
