From the Pen of Theodore Dalrymple:

Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small.

In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.

Your Say

This works only when people wish it to be so. Resist, resist, resist. They're like little kids; they don't like hearing the word NO. Use it on them. Really, What are they going to do? Cry?

VW,

Eeeeyup. One of the bases that propaganda always rests on is nasty negative psychology - in this case the inbred guilt mechanisms and approval-seeking of children raised by neurotics.

It's also, by the by, the reason why men are at great risk of being pussy-whipped. You can see girls as young as 3 years old mimicking the disapproval techniques learned from their mothers; boys, wishing to just get along and do something else for Christ's sake, let 'em get away with it for the sake of peace. The same thing happens, as you point out, with people who'd rather ignore bad behavior than spend their lives hassling with the small shit.

Just say NO - and turn it around by enlisting them in the stupid political crap that you find funny. It confuses the shit out of them.

Saying no for the 451st time will do what exactly?

If you treat them seriously they will respect you seriously.

Until then wear the clown suit proudly.

Start with a good hard punch in the face. Follow up with thirty caliber reality.
That's the nice thing about reality, consequences are immediate and proportional: a short'n sharp feedback, no room for dithering excuses.

Ghost, saying no constantly is ignoring them. That is something that cannot stand. Driving them nuts is as much fun as setting their hair on fire. Do it and they start eating their faces from the forehead down.

Ir's like teasing a little kid; the frustration builds up, they explode, wet their panties and attack.

THAT'S when the .30cal is used. Hell, have some fun.

Anonymousconservative.com has a truly excellent blog and book about how liberals are "children raised by neurotics," and how their behavior is physically hard wired in the amygdala, the part of the brain that governs emotions and impulse control.

He also shows how to "short circuit" this hard wiring to beat them at their own game. Profound stuff!
