Democrats openly—and without a hint of apparent irony or self-awareness of their hypocrisy—
appeal to nonwhite voters and women.At the same time, their default criticism of Republicans—who shake in their boots at the very idea of appealing directly to whites lest they be forever damned as bigots—is that the GOP’s strategy is no less overt than the KKK’s. I have to wonder what planet Mr. Brown has been living on. The democrats have been doing this since long before the late 80's.
Blacks, Latinos, women, youth are and have always been nothing more than tools in the democrat's arsenal of divide and conquer.
A little history for Mr. Brown. Check out the Republican Civil Rights Act of 1957.
After the famous Brown V. Board of Education decision by the Supreme Court, "99 members of Congress signed the "Southern Manifesto" denouncing the court's ruling in Brown. Two were Republicans. Ninety-seven were Democrats."
Lyndon Johnson, LBJ (or as I like to pronounce it, El Beee Jay, emphasis on the Beee) was famously quoted saying about the 1964 civil rights act that, "I'll have the niggers voting democrat for the next 200 years."
It's only gotten worse and become more noticeable over time. As has a totally bias mainstream media, which in those days was the only media we really had.
Divide and conquer, and appealing to man's basest instincts are the only tools the left has because their arguments are laughable and have not withstood the test of time.
What the gentry liberals do not understand is that they too, they especially are hated.
