Vladimir Putin Is the Leader of the Moral World

Vladimir Putin’s remarks at the 11th meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club
are worth more than a link in my latest column. These are the remarks of a humanitarian political leader, the like of which the world has not seen in my lifetime. Compare Putin to the corrupt war criminal in the White House or to his puppets in office in Germany, UK, France, Japan, Canada, Australia, and you will see the difference between a criminal clique and a leader striving for a humane and livable world in which the interests of all peoples are respected.

Your Say

Sounds like the author of this article would like to be Putin his dick in someone's ass. What a collection of astoundingly stupid comments and inferences. His list of other topical articles give you an idea of what this guy is about.

I'm no Obama lover. Christ, I can't stand the man and would rank him at the bottom of the heap in terms of US presidents during my rather lengthy lifetime, but only the lickiest of ball lickers could possibly consider Mr. Putin as a world leader. He'd certainly like to be a world conquere, but leader, I don't think so.

We never lived in the mother-in-law's basement. We lived in her attic. Man wife and wee twin babes and a mother-in-law is plenty of incentive to move out.

Putin is a man and Hussein is a twee bottom. But, that doesn't make Putin a good guy. He isn't he is a kleptocrat and a thug. OTOH, none of this makes Hussein a good guy. He is a corrupt lying sack of excrement. And there you have it.

One thing to say in favor of Putin, he puts Russia first (including his graft, his, uh, fees) and he has some qualities which if working on our side would be desirable. Looking at popular and productive presidents we have had they all were a bit aggressive, not afraid to draw steel and strike blows when necessary. We organized and fought back in several wars and one president had the stones to drop nukes on Japanese cities.
What do we have now?

It's like being in Caligula's Rome. A half breed faggot of dubious provenance on the throne and toadying grifters running the place. You gotta forgive me, I'm not well ... sometimes I think I've seen too much. I wish Putin had grown up in Boise. – Remus

There is a rumor out in the wild that Putin is suffering a case of some sort of cancer. Just to add to the mix.

pbird: too bad if true. I am a cancer victim, myeloma will never go away, best I got is keeping it in ten percent remission. Wouldn't wish it on my enemies. Oh, I might wish them dead but not that way. whoops, drifting a bit.

Say what you want about Putin the politician, he is a strong leader doing what he feels is best for his country. The exact opposite of the nancy boy we have. When people meet with Putin, some may fear him but most all respect him. All the other world leaders including all the yocky dock third world ones, they laugh at Obama.

Popular sentiment here has him rated below Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter.

No, I don't wish cancer on him or anyone. I hope yours stays well down in the low numbers!

We are truly in a sad state when the little poofter we have for a figure head of state makes a Russian strong man look good.

pbird: yeah, you betcha. Thanks for your support.

Never thought I'd root for a KGB thug. Heck, I also yearn for Nixon. I'd settle for a JFK. His party policies seem conservative compared to what we see these days.

Nothing is simple anymore. Nothing ever works. Nothing ever fits. Everything's gotta be special. Standard is never good enough.

" but only the lickiest of ball lickers could possibly consider Mr. Putin as a world leader."

Well someone just defined Obama in a few words.
