These people are our enemies.

They don't use guns, yet, but they are just as dangerous, determined, and duplicitous as the communists we faced in the Cold War, Korea, Vietnam, and bush wars across the globe, and the Nazis we faced in World War II.
It is time we fully internalized and digested this fact, with all its ugly ramifications. These people have violated countless laws and could be prosecuted, had we the political power. Not only are their policies unconstitutional, but deliberately so -- the goal being to make the Constitution irrelevant. Their spending is off the charts and will drive us into hyperinflation, but it could be rescinded, had we the political power. These policies are toxic, but they could be stopped and reversed, had we the political power. Their ideologies are poisonous, but they could be exposed for what they are, with long jail sentences as an object lesson, had we the political power.

Your Say

Change political to will throughout, and you have something doable.

My guess is this country will break in two, fracture into a liberal and I guess I call it a Conservative section for a better term.

Perhaps a moral governance (I don't want a religious right running things) that uses the Judeo/Christian model and the Constitution as its basis. That's going to take a civil war:
1) to get rid of those that don't care for the change and don't want to move
2) Believe they have the Holy Grail of Governance and the right to tell all how to live.

They thirst for death and deserve to get it!

VW: It seems likely that the divide will be the Mississippi River. Of course we have Cali and the PacNW but we can sort them out fairly quickly.

The western redoubts have a lot of room around them for expansion. The east, not so. No room to expand anywhere. The east has enclaves of right and proper citizens but too many large population centers of the wrong 'uns. Be hard to eradicate them all just based on sheer numbers.

I got a better idea. How about if everybody just leave everybody else the hell alone, or else. For some reason it is the *or else* part that a lot of people have problems with in that the gov't has been corrupted so that people that have been wronged by others cannot extract restitution. Black's Law Dictionary states that the singular function of justice is make victims whole but today's justice system does everything but. As a long term business owner and a former soldier I am all for the participants finding their common ground in the absence of gov't, through logic and as a last resort overwhelming force if necessary. If you are not willing to protect yourself and your property then you have no grounds to complain if it is taken from you. The current gov't restricts your ability to protect yourself and your stuff and indeed is a primary criminal as a result. This is wrong and needs to be extinguished.
