No. She had no reputation, none that counted in the world she blundered into and that was the point.Monica Lewinsky never belonged. Men in politics have often had mistresses, but unlike the well publicized paramours of European leaders, she could not take care of herself. Those women had the angles figured. They gave no pity and deserved none. Lewinsky didn’t even know what the game was. In the loveless, pitiless, strangely sexless world of power politics, the only reputation that counts is how you do as a player. She got off easy. Real easy. Others who became embarrassing to people in high places ended up at ambient temperature in parks or harbors, or just went away.

Ms Lewinsky's reputation is exactly what the other woman in an adulterous relationship ought to be; it is what a woman who blows the President of the Snited States on her knees in the Oval Office while his wife is in the same building deserves. She wasn't slandered, she wasn't smeared. She was unveiled. She's blaming people for noticing how wrong and bad she was.
This doesn't mean the President is any better; he's a loathsome cheating scumbag womanizing serial sexual harasser who likely raped several women. He's a scumbag who shouldn't have been allowed within 100 yards of the White House let alone the office of president.
But that doesn't make Ms Lewinsky any less wrong.
