I don't know where we go from here, but I suspect that it is bad.
I continue to believe I have a moral obligation to behave in a lawful way,but I no longer consider myself bound in loyalty to a government that has has moved beyond the powers granted to it. Morality, decency, and legitimate freedom will not be restored to Americans through election, it will take other means. I believe the world will undergo a crisis incomprehensible to most and what will emerge from the other side is a different people. That different people will choose a different government. You owe no loyalty to a govt that ignores your rights, spies on you, won't defend you, imports economic and religious enemies to replace the native people.

The evidence that the government does not consider the rule of law binding upon it and its agents is mounting rapidly.
Why should I consider the rule of law binding on me? One set of laws for the subjects and another set for the ruling class is tyranny.

If the government continues to treat the citizenry as their enemy they should not be surprised if the citizenry comes to believe them.
