Who owns you?

The enveloping context of the arrests was Ferguson police using SWAT tactics to empty a peaceable restaurant,
in which the aforementioned reporters were eating and working. By what right did the police assert an owner's rights over someone else's property? By what right did they command the immediate obedience of private citizens engaged in wholly legitimate, wholly peaceful activities? Given the context, had the reporters resisted arrest, they might well have been shot down on the instant. By what right would the Ferguson police have deprived those men of their most fundamental properties: their lives?

Your Say

1. Open to the public? Subject to all those laws that "allow" them to do business? It's a public place.
2. What if blah blah blah...?
I can't decide, straw man, or reductio absurdum?

We are living in a lawless, dictatorial police-state.

Words to live by: The police are NOT your friend.

There don't seem to be any good guys in this mess. Rioters vs thuggish police. Race mongering reporters and looters and military cops oh my!

Great, now we get play “we know what happened before we know what really happened” just like the jackwagons burning and looting. Plus for extra awesomesauce - “Fuck da police!”.

Count me out.

And yes, for all you who can’t seem to follow simple logic, I’m ALL in for a police state. And for you real simpletons, rioters are so freakin' cool.

A socialist state cannot survive without a police state. A state of liberty will have no need of it, and cannot tolerate it. The contest appears to be over.

By what right does a street thug have to your wallet?

They aren't police, they are thugs in gov't costumes.

Blow their heads off on sight, before they do you.
