Secret serum likely saved Ebola patients

Brantly began to deteriorate and developed labored breathing.

He told his doctors he thought he was dying, according to a source with firsthand knowledge of the situation. Knowing his dose was still frozen, Brantly asked if he could have Writebol's now-thawed medication. It was brought to his room and administered through an IV. Within an hour of receiving the medication, Brantly's condition dramatically improved. He began breathing easier; the rash over his trunk faded away. One of his doctors described the events as "miraculous." By the next morning, Brantly was able to take a shower on his own before getting on a specially designed Gulfstream air ambulance jet to be evacuated to the United States.

Your Say

I'll believe it when it is reported by someone other than CNN.

That said, I bet that when and if this news is released the very first comment on MSM is "Life saving drug withheld from dying Blacks and given to privileged white Doctors.", any takers?

I wonder if this drug has any preventative or prophylactic benefits. They really need something to give the heroic nursing staff in those countries.

Q: What if they require all US citizens to take it as a vaccine?

I agree that this report has some dubious elements to it. I post it not because I think it is true or untrue but only as a kindof marker.

Wanna see more sadness than you can bear?
Read the comments at the bottom of the ebola articles.

The web allows the worst to rise to the top.
Seems as if the web is becoming more and more irrelevant everyday.

All this fuss about Ebola is stirring everybody up. There are two lines of thinking: Ebola is not as fatal as they want us to believe or yes, it is.
Whichever is true does not matter so much as the reaction of the citizens. Panic, setting borders and perimeters and not allowing contagious or possibly contagious folks to come in, hate mail to Atlanta hospitals, panic, freakout.
This disease can be fatal in the same way influenza was back in 1918. Millions died back then and, yes, we didn’t have the medicines and knowledge we do now, but an epidemic is an epidemic.
Even chicken pox; The missus just got over an outbreak of shingles, something contagious, especially to me with my lowered immune system and how many of our age had chicken pox? Lots.

I further think and I have been saying all along that Obama and his crew are setting us up for Martial Law. http://dpjk.blogspot.com/2014/04/martial-law.html
Any crisis that “gets out of hand” perhaps assisted by agents provocateur will do: The border crisis. The Bundy ranch crisis, The MidEast terrorists crisis. Now the Ebola crisis. I read in one of Gerard’s comments where somebody suggested that the first time we see Ebola “in the wild” or out of quarantine areas we will be hit with Martial Law.for our own good y’know. And in the border zone https://www.aclu.org/know-your-rights-constitution-free-zone-map we might be hosting UN troops from Germany or Poland, guys that won’t hesitate to turn their guns on us (we ain’t “their People”). And yes, everybody will have to line up and give all kinds of information most not relevant to the crisis but to record all they can about our sex, drug use, gun ownership, religion, so forth. Any who refuse will be escorted to the busses and box cars.

The crises keep rolling in. how convenient for Leviathan working quietly to gain more control of this country. While we are fussing about such as Ebola and the Bundy incident and the border crashing, the stage is being set for a takeover. There will be no '16 elections; watch and see how much good comes from the mid-terms. Not much, palliative at best, soothing the morally indignant that indeed justice is being done and the conservatives can make a difference, turn this thing around. While we are adjusting to the shifting conditions, accepting just this once more, and that once more, the forces of Homeland Security and the cops and the troops are practicing for civil unrest and Martial Law. Why you think all the agencies are gunning up? The library? Fish and Game? C'mon. Brown shirts are multiplying faster that three per centers.

Smoke and mirrors folks. "Political conflicts are merely surface manifestations. If conflicts arise you may be sure that certain powers intend to keep the conflicts under operation since they hope to profit from the situation. To concern yourself with surface political conflicts is to make the mistake of the bull in the ring, you are charging the cloth. That is what politics is for, to teach you the cloth. Just as the bullfighter teaches the bull, teaches him to follow, obey the cloth." — W. S. Burroughs

We are being led down the path to more servitude and less freedom. We oughta listen to that Rock and Roll Gerard posted up a ways. We oughta listen to Sousa marches is what we should do.

Sousa...Not so much.

What we need are new lyrics to "The Bonnie Blue Flag". I have a "..bonnie blue flag that bares a single star." And I know what it signifies, States Rights. Down with the encroachments of an out of control Federal Government.
