"I’m a cop. If you don’t want to get hurt, don’t challenge me."

Here is the bottom line: if you don’t want to get shot, tased, pepper-sprayed, struck with a baton or thrown to the ground, just do what I tell you.
Don’t argue with me, don’t call me names, don’t tell me that I can’t stop you, don’t say I’m a racist pig, don’t threaten that you’ll sue me and take away my badge. Don’t scream at me that you pay my salary, and don’t even think of aggressively walking towards me. Most field stops are complete in minutes. How difficult is it to cooperate for that long?

Your Say

Just be polite, cooperative, and do what he says. Don't talk back, don't give excuses, don't argue, don't be angry. Smile, nod, be friendly. Cops are your friends, except for the very few bad guys.

If they aren't breaking the law forcing you to offer up civil disobedience, and aren't requiring you to do something morally repugnant or sinful, DO IT.

Don't be a jerk or a two year old throwing a tantrum. Give these guys a break huh?

Yes you base peasant villeins, do what the Man say, and show that you know that you are vile scum. Cause he got a gun and you can't get yours out of your pocket fast enough. Remember this is Obama's America now, and he don't want no backchat from you white boy.

I go out of my way to avoid killing thugs.

Remember, if you kill a common thug there's a good chance you'll have to shoot some gov't thugs too, or risk getting shot by them yourself. They shoot first, hide on vacation later, then get a raise, repeat.

Don't take my word for it, go look it up in Professor John Lott's book "More Gun's, Less Crimes", where he states you are 13 times more apt to be shot by a gov't thug than anyone else based on the actual records of the gov't thugs themselves.

Let's not take our eyes off the real threats to our safety and well-being: Muslims and Black militants, looters and pillaging mobs, rogue cops, night riders.
Cops are down on the list, so far, but things will change when the system breaks down into nation states.
Using Cooper's color codes we can avoid a lot of serious encounters but when all else fails, shoot to kill.
Surrender, if you must, to legal authority; if you choose not to surrender, go down guns ablazing. We'll all remember you as a fool.

Sorry ladies and gents, that kind of police has vanished. Trust once lost, is bloody damn difficult to regain. To be a cop now, is to know, submit to and accept that they are the brute enforcers of a tyrannical government, that punishes the law-abiding for every infraction, while enabling our country to be invaded and degraded by every kind of criminal and politically useful parasite.

They have disarmed us even in our own homes. Who the hell gave up our ancient and honorable rights? To defend yourself, your home, family and neighbors against marauders and intruders is to bring the wrath of the Persecutors, who believe they alone hold a monopoly on lawful violence. They proclaim they have no duty to protect us, and yet vigorously deny us the capability to defend ourselves at home and in public.

The police are now only "peace keepers", that yet believe they have immunity to break the peace for any reason at all. Two women, peacefully delivering newspapers at 5AM, their car suddenly riddled with over 100 bullets. No one was disciplined, no one was persecuted, the LA City government paid up $5M in hush money to the two poor women. The police have made their point. Go up against us, you will be met with overwhelming, unlimited, and relentless force. They shoot first. They empty their guns, that is their doctrine, meet any challenge to their "authority" with pre-emptive disproportionate force, pour encourage les autres.

There is a moment where Blade Runner has come true, in Bryant's threat: "Stop right where you are! You know the score, pal. You're not cop, you're little people!".

Remember this then. If the police have no duty to protect, then that falls upon each man and women to protect their own. As long as you are keeping the peace, they have no lawful power to exert upon you. The moment they break the peace, they become just another gang of thugs. It is difficult for a lone individual to withstand a gang of thugs. It is more difficult for the gang to withstand those who have learned their essential Solzhenitsyn.

Where I live (200k city), we still have a police department and policemen according to the city's web site. It does have a swat team, but we rarely hear anything about it. The police do have to drop a bad guy now and then, almost if not always a you-know-what.

No fuss out of the you-know-what community since 1976, when a you-know-what was shot in the back and killed running away. That little incident resulted in outrage throughout the city, and over the course of a year or two, a complete turnover in city government, including going from commissioner type to mayor-council type, election of a really strong, hands-on mayor who was elected over and over again for about 25 years, and a balanced city council that has gotten along better and better over time. Oh yeah, we're located in the deepest south.

Yeah, I don't know where some of you live, but the cops around here are good guys, friendly and helpful. They are stern in a tight situation, as they have to be, but every one of them I've met has been a good sort.

I suppose we have some sort of SWAT type branch, but I've never seen it. The Salem Police department doesn't have a tank, or machine guns as far as I know. None of them are wearing body armor or have a K-Bar strapped on.

I know its happening some areas, but I suspect you can name them specifically off the top of your head and number them without running out of fingers.

In Las Vegas cops shoot and don't ask questions later. Never been an unjustified shooting in the history of Clark County. One kid was shot dead for dribbling a basketball, but I can understand that. Around here, if you have a schizo kid off his meds and you call the cops to help, your mistake, he's a gonner in a hail of gunfire. Cops are friendly enough, though.

Btw, no doubt in my mind that the intoxicated, retarded 300 lb. Ferguson Silverback was a righteous shoot by an above average cop.

Considering the great changes in the population it is surprising that cops have not become more vicious than they have. London averaged, if memory serves, seven murders year in the decade before the Great War. Maybe poverty doesn't cause crime.Little wonder the police didn't carry weapons.

It's appalling how unaware some of you folks are about the world around you. And Christopher Taylor's reverse NIMBY display is stunning.

Google Radley Balko and take a look at what your country has turned into from the inside out. Maybe then you'll start to get an idea as to why many people that are paying attention keep a 12ga close to every door.

I expected some wag to note that the deepest south is simply a hundred years behind the times, and we would get our militarized/shoot-from-the-hip police force in due time. I had a snappy retort ready, but guess I'll have to save it.
