ALS Dunking — The Liberal Baptism
Is it just me or does this silly craze seem more like a pseudo-religious ablution or ritual initiation into the order of morally neutral do-gooders? When our senior execs jumped into the frenzy last week it struck me it that eventually liberal suppression of worship would spontaneously manifest itself, but only through superficial parody. Welcome to the herd.
Think of 1953 and a 4 yo boy in the backyard with his blue bucket with seahorses on it and the garden hose running.
He fills the bucket halfway then lifts it skyward only to slip and dump it all over himself laughing the whole time and his soiled underpants become muddier while mom calls him for supper - in the future he will be a hero.
Dunking water on ones self is what is called a challenge now a days.
The burn-off will be glorious.

Why shouldn't they dunk themselves? They haven't done much else with their lives of note.
