Joan of Arc: Ignored by Feminists

a_joan_of_arc_miniature_cropped.jpg

We might expect to see her commemorated on a postage stamp or a silver dollar
along with other intrepid females who fought for women’s rights or otherwise beat men at their own game. But feminists seem wary of Joan, as if they didn’t quite trust her. Anyway, they don’t often mention her, at least in public, and they certainly don’t carry her banner in demonstrations. That shows a degree of political acumen on their part, for were they to call attention to her it would soon become painfully clear that she didn’t care a fig for equal rights, for either man or woman. What concerned her was the rights of God.

Your Say

Gosh, why is it that Erin Pizzy is thrown to the wastelands?
Oh wait, she did actual heavy lifting, before her more "entitled" sisters voted themselves to be administrators of the victimology distribution network, and it's subsequent "welfare" rates for rent seeking.
THAT war, on "other" women, goes on today.
I just can't decide which mocks "feminism" more,
Title IX, "Dear Colleague...",Alien Spouse Act, or "Real Housewives of (fill in the blank)".
In terms of Batsh1t Crazy, I'd say today's Ms. Pelosi, or perhaps Ms. Marcott, could give Joan D'Arc a good run. Lucrative rent gathering, but the "actually constructive" part is missing.
In My Humble Opinion of course.
