Your Say

Looks like a geek. But heroes don't always fit our stereotypes. Good for him and good for the people who are the force behind recognizing what he did.

We have always had men (and women) with lion hearts in our society. They're just not as apparent as they once were, what with all the emphasis on "give peace a chance" and banning guns.

Good on him. Wish him luck.

Well no one else has the balls to ask.
What kind of motherfucker buys pepper spray?
I've never even known anyone that has bought that shit. Are you people retarded?

Aw, c'mon ghost. Not everybody thinks like we do, will kill somebody if we have to. This guy showed courage by doing something and jumping the shooter. What I'da done would be get the guy's gun and shoot him with it but as I say, not everyone is willing to go the distance.

Everybody doesn't have to be John Wayne, boys. People carry pepper spray because they don't want to go to jail - and having gone to jail, I don't much blame 'em.

A "gentle and shy" guy (like a lot of other folks) who had the balls to step up and get involved. All the gun-toters in the world chanting "By God they better not fuck with ME" don't mean shit in the face of the fact that this kid did the right thing.

As ever, right on Rob. The thing with this guy, I bet he doesn't think he was doing something extraordinary, certainly not grandstanding. He merely did the right thing. He's what we call a standup guy back where I came from. I see it as well down around my place. Ordinary people, don't posture around, when the time comes they stand up and do what needs be done.

Bravo zulu to this young man!

I have pepper spray. I can take it with me to work as my EDC without getting arrested. Thank God the kid had his.
