Trust me, it was even stupider than it looks.

There’s no explaining, no excuse. You thought you were going to get laid is the best I can do. HappyAcres

Your Say

This guy doesn't know what he is talking about. I was there and nobody dressed like that or danced like that. Those people are in COSTUME for Hair or something of the sort.
Harrumph.

Well, comments are back. With changes. With Wordpress the comment approval is for the first comment then after the first comment is approved future comments are automatically approved.

As Doc Mercury (Where is he?) advised me, do you want to be sitting in a dark room; approve (click), approve (click), (repeat..). For the rest of your life? Well, do yah kid?

With that mob, it might be sex and more than likely something to take home.

Well, that explains everything I did between 1965 and 1972.

I never saw anybody dressed that goofy. Of course, part of the time I was winning hearts and minds and there's a whole buncha time that went missing. I'm sure I'd remember something like that ... wouldn't I?

Hell I don't remember much of what I was doing between '65 and '72 other than I was shooting people or getting drunk in some order. Bot a great time in my life at least the parts that I remember.

I was about six. I watched my bizarro hippie cousins though my fingers. Y'all were batshit crazy.

Batshit crazy Mother E, yes, but not dressed like extras in a hipploitation b grade film. Or gyrating like kindergarteners playing airplane.

My aunt was into Rosicrucianism. Her eldest boy killed himself. Her second oldest boy had snakes and was in a motorcycle gang. It was my dumb luck to catch the Hong Kong flu and get quarantined in the house away from most of the lunacy. I don't miss those days at all.

Miss those days? Um, no, I don't miss any of the decades I went through. (I am sixty-seven). I think the 60s was the last decade of innocence. I was in that world, not of it, a wolf amongst the sheep you might say.
Each decade since has gotten worse right up to what we're going through now. I do not envy my grandchildren. If they live long enough they will see some very bad times.

I went to "art" school. So, yes, I saw many people dressed like that. I also saw many of them undressed.
