Oh, by the way, the petroleum industry is (indirectly)responsible for FAR more "saved" whales, beginning waaaaaay before Greenpeace was reimbursed for it's oil spewing ship of "scientists" and "activists".
I wonder how much more oil I'll be burning for heat, during that long winter darkness, now that "dual purpose" light bulbs are illegal? That lamp shade made the perfect venturi chimney, facilitating circulation of heated air.
"Smart" electric meters will sure make rationing energy easy when taxpayer subsidies (as opposed to tax breaks)make electric cars affordable enough that EVERYBODY will have one in every garage. I wonder how much strain on the (3)grids all those "smart" phone chargers use on gub'mint provided, and/or regulated devices?, w/free "minutes"? Why don't THOSE items come with solar chargers, you know, so you can charge em' up overnight!
