Someone handed me a chicken taco once, and I actually reached for it.

But my fingers just would not close around that varmint.

So I ate 2 giant beef burritos instead.

I have been desperately pleading this for a while. I'm sure many of you are even more tired of seeing my comments than I am of writing them. But each of you would be shocked how easy it is to defeat a liberal in public on any of their topics. But because we have been raised to be nice people and we generally see conflict and argument as proof that someone isn't being polite, we stay quiet and flee to less confrontational arenas.

This strategy amplifies the appearance of Liberal dominance, which is wholly false. OUR views are the most widely spread ideas in society, but almost every damn one of us is busy trying not to show up on radar and all of us feel like lone wolves. If you would speak up in public there would be others beside you that would see they aren't alone and that would inspire them to speak up.

Here's the easy way to win these battles when you start. 1) listen to NPR or read any prominent liberal magazine web site. It's like reading your enemy's mail. You will know their argument before you are put on the spot. 2) Take time and see what the conservative counter arguments/facts are to undermine the liberal. 3) ask questions of the liberal that require him to know things from memory and which undermine his own point. Most people don't know the facts and figures behind their own point, they have a feeling that their point is right and somehow it's just true and needs no support.

"How much do we spend on educating children in public schools?"

"Are children's test scores higher or lower now than 10-20 years ago?"

"Are test scores higher or lower in private/religious schools than in public schools?"

"how much does it cost to go to a Catholic elementary school?

Keep steering the liberal back to your original question, don't argue about his diversionary point or name calling. Just deflect it by saying "we can talk about that after you answer my question." or "You must know the answer to my question helps my argument or you wouldn't be dodging it."

Another good tactic to torpedo a liberal in public is to wait until they say something sketchy and then ask them "how do you know that?" Now they have to document some wild claim they probably just made up or have mindlessly repeated for years.

Keep going back to the "IF this liberal idea hurts _insert_liberal_group_here would you still support it?" Don't argue about does it or does it not hurt backs/poor/kids/etc, to raise the minimum wage, but keep them answering If raising the MW hurts them would they support raising it?

These encounters usually last just a short while once they have to answer specific questions and you deflect their change of subject. When they call you a name, you win. Just calmly point out to others nearby they aren't answering the question, and they are hurling insults only because they are losing.

It's easy to win, but you have to take a swing to hit the ball.

Writing, chattering or waving signs during a protest won't do it.

It's too late for that; now it's time for bullets. Obama knows this, why do you think he's arming all those peckerwoods in his cabinet, prepping the military for war against civilians.

The time for talk is over. I don't think our Forefathers sat around talking. Boots and steel.
