If you have to ask, the answer is "Yes."

neo-neocon -- Bergdahl: “at best a deserter, at worst a traitor”…the release of these particular prisoners wasn’t just a reluctant move in order to free Bergdahl, it may be more accurate to say that Bergdahl’s release was negotiated at this point in time in order to free the Taliban Five."

Your Say

When was the last time oshithead did something heroic?

The first person to say 'bin laden' gets punched right in the face by chas, then my boot all the way up their ass, sideways, until their breath smells like kiwi.

I'm withholding comment on this other dood until further investigation/research is conducted, but suffice to say, it don't look good.

DC wants this one very quiet, wants it to go away.

So, The mess with Bergdahl will be hushed up and swept under the carpet which means that a trial and punishment will also be hushed which means that Bergdahl will not be executed. Maybe a couple years in jail and a dishonorable discharge. Maybe a couple junior officers will be flung under the bus, transferred to Alaska or something.

Nothing to see here, folks, move along.

Ahem, the last dishonorable discharge was issued prior to 1974 when I went in. From at least that time it is an "conditions other than honorable".

It's not possible to sweep stuff under that well worn rug any more for it is now as high as Mt Rushmore with all the previous stuff under it.
