The total disregard for truth by the ruling class is like a tidal wave of sewage.

The foulness of it makes it hard to focus on anyone bit.
We have no idea how many people signed up through these websites. We have no idea how many actually bought insurance. We have no idea how many had insurance, but were canceled due to this silly law. We don’t know how many went on Medicaid.

No one knows because the government refuses to publish the numbers for examination by the citizens.
The lefty media, however, takes whatever the rulers say on faith. I guess all that talking truth to power stuff was just more bullshit.

This is the central feature of the Custodial State.
The government is never going to be very good at tending to the needs of the citizens. The abuses coming out of the Veterans Administration are just the beginning. The response will be habitual lying by the ruling elites to the point where no one knows what is truth and what is fiction. This, of course, trickles down to the rest of us.

Ours is now a dishonesty society.
Nothing is on the level. Everything is a deal. No deal is too small or too outlandish. And, it is only going to get worse.

"The abuses coming out of the Veterans Administration are just the beginning."
Just the beginning?
I think SOMEONE has been asleep for 100 years or so. Perhaps "educated" with progressively "official" public school history books, or the progressively "approved" college syllabi, appropriate for "special access" recipients of "certificate of attendance" awards?

Oops,
"certificate of participation"
sorry.

The political payola and the liberal judicial system conspire to create a system built on lies and cannot stand the truth. Make no mistake every congressman with a VA hospital or other facility in his district is NOT going to vote for anything that would cut back the payola. This is not and has never been about the veteran and what is good for them it is about the money coming into the congressman's district, government jobs and votes.

An old friend I hadn't seen for 20+ years "found" me on the web late last year. All he could do was gush about how much money he was saving after signing up for opunk's social engineering experiment.

We didn't converse long, I have my limits ya know.
Either I used to be like him or he like me, or somewhere in the middle, but now we are polar opposites and I don't waste my time grieving about it.

This VA issue — I am a veteran, thank God I haven't needed the care, the issue is not about veterans or dead people or hospitals. The issue is failed management, poor productivity, lack of accountability. Within the federal government system it is the same with all departments. Good old boys and chiseling for a larger office and counting the days until retirement and CYA'ing and just plain don't give a shit.

It is not as bad as it seems. Where any branch of government is involved, it is always far, far worse.

Always assume that they are lying, obfuscating, mis-directing; always accuse them of the worst you can imagine, and you may be close. By not buying into the "modified, limited hangout" you ratchet up the level of preposterous lies they must concoct in order to stay ahead of the issue at hand.
