The Last Communist City by Michael J. Totten
Roofs have collapsed. Walls are splitting apart. Window glass is missing. Paint has long vanished. It’s eerily dark at night, almost entirely free of automobile traffic. I walked for miles through an enormous swath of destruction without seeing a single tourist. Most foreigners don’t know that this other Havana exists, though it makes up most of the city—tourist buses avoid it, as do taxis arriving from the airport. It is filled with people struggling to eke out a life in the ruins.-- City Journal Spring 2014

We won't have to worry about that here. All the large urban areas will be hit with EMPs or low-level nukes and the playing field will be leveled. The folks in flyover country, we know better and will stand on the ridgelines cheering the red glow on the horizons.

If the Monroe doctrine meant anything, and if the Fair Play for Cuba Committee were not ensconced in the White House and State Department, we would send a couple of MEUs to Cuba, and see to it that they installed a liberal free market government, not hostile to our interests.

When Fidel finally dies, various parts of his body should be shipped to Sean Penn, Steven Spielberg, Ed Asner, Woody Harrelson, and an assortment of other idiot luminaries who have glorified that thoroughly evil bastard.

I've been there and seen it. Surpassing sad.
Eating beef is a crime in Cuba, btw.

Ah, communism in all its glory. Why doesn't Michael Moore already live in such a paradise?
