I always saw a bit of pain in Carney's eyes, very different from his contemptuous, mocking predecessor. You always wanted to push Robert Gibbs' face in for that condescending, mocking smirk. Carney just looked like he was in pain the whole time, forced at gunpoint to read awful stuff.

Press secretary for the president of the USA just has to be one of the most miserable jobs on earth.
