School Daze: An assignment for 8th grade students at a school district in California

"You will read and discuss multiple, credible articles on this issue, and write an argumentative essay, based upon cited textual evidence, in which you explain whether or not you believe this was an actual event in history, or merely a political scheme created to influence public emotion and gain wealth. Remember to address counterclaims (rebuttals) to your stated claim."
Coming next: examining the evidence for and against the existence of slavery in the United States. Some argue that slavery is, in fact, a myth designed to explain why black people have historically been under-represented in the upper echelons of American society; a myth which allows them to get all uppity and riled up about perceived injustices instead of getting on with their lives and making money, like decent folks do...

Your Say

Yes! If only to watch all the heads explode!

ooooooowwww, What you said.

The Jesuits use this strategy; fascists all over the world have adopted it. Why do we keep sending our children in to this arena, little lambs that they are?

“When an opponent declares, ‘I will not come over to your side,’ I calmly say, ‘Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.’“ - Adolf Hitler

Hitler was a short-arsed faggot in charge of an evil empire but he and his cronies knew how to manage people, bending them to their will or destroying them. If educators started wearing brown shirts do you think maybe we might object more strenuously?

...he and his cronies knew how to manage ̶p̶e̶o̶p̶l̶e̶, Germans,....

Chasmatic,
Thank you for that clarification.

Tim: I was trying to draw a comparison between others that have subjugated a society by subduing and brainwashing the children through the school system and what our current fascist government is doing ( the same thing). Kinda 1984-ish as well, rewriting or omitting in the history books.

Your comment seemed cryptic to me; are we on the same page here?

Once the last camp survivors die out, expect this push to get a lot louder and start to get a lot broader support from culture.

And expect secular Jews to play along with it all.

Vague thoughts about The Nuremburg Defense and the "Schultz Defense" come to mind. The people living five miles from the death camps, usually upwind, didn't know or didn't care about what was going on. Oh yeah, some outspoken ones objected and ended up in the camps themselves.

Chris, you're right, when the last eyewitnesses with the numbers on their arms (I have seen a few of them, God rest their souls) have gone away the memories will fade and be distorted. Make the camps in to a macabre Disney World.

Meanwhile what are the schools trying to do? What is their agenda? Who monitors what curricula the schools push on the innocent kids? Queer sex and feel-good studies and rewriting history and studies and speech codes for obscure and insignificant minorities. WTF?

Yes, we are on the same page here.
