Never Gets Old

a_just_never_gets_old.jpg

Posted by gerardvanderleun at May 22, 2014 7:32 AM. This is an entry on the sideblog of American Digest: Check it out.

Your Say

I have a picture of me and my newborn son where I am sitting him on my leg. I had to support his head by gently placing my hand around his jaw. He has a mildly annoyed expression on his face and his left arm is pulled back and his hand is curled up in a baby fist

So the overall effect of this photo is that me and my two-week old son are engaged in an all out life and death struggle where I'm trying to choke him and he's trying to strike back with his fist

That is an old photo of La Clinton. Her more recent photos show her looking like my mother did at 87 when she died of dementia.

I hear a faint chorus of "Assholes Get a Punch in the Face", sung to the tune of Inky Dinky Parlay-voo.

lennie: not you, Hils.

Posted by: chasmatic at May 22, 2014 11:59 AM

I dunno why, but for some reason, I pictured chasmatic as being a bit older.

Aw now Steve, we all just trying to get along; make a few jokes, perhaps a germane and witty comment or two.

To take your comment seriously and grant the benefit of the doubt, I am sixty-seven years old:

Christian,
American,
heterosexual,
pro-gun,
Conservative.

Any questions?

Steve: I fell flat on my ass. The split second I posted the comment I got the joke. Shrug. That thumbnail description still stands but maybe I should add "thick-headed to recognize a joke".

Since I'm here, I'll say that just as Obama was set up as the front for whatever powers that be that run things, so will be Hilary or any other Democrat that can stand up and not piss on his/her shoes. Heck, it won't have to be a Democrat. A Republican would be a stooge as well.

If we stay in the electoral process paradigm we will get the same government we have now. No matter who runs and gets elected we are way beyond the point of no return.

I can't advocate rebellion and advocate illegal acts but I gotta say that desperate times have always required desperate measures. What's that quote about the Tree of Liberty watered with the blood of patriots, something like that.

"Run Hillary Run!"
Which bumper should I put the sticker on?

This photo doesn't get old, but Hills sure did.

Hey chasmatic,

No offense intended. I was fishing for a laugh, but sometimes the nudge and a wink don't come across on the Interwebs.

I don't have numbers, but I suspect the demographic here at American Digest skews towards the adult end of the spectrum - people literate enough to read Thomas Friedman, but smart enough to know he is an idiot.

The baby chasmatic joke struck me as funny since you seem way past the larval stage. Plus punching Hillary in the face.
