It's Always Something
Michelangelo's David 'has weak ankles and could collapse' - TelegraphPosted by gerardvanderleun at May 9, 2014 8:31 AM. This is an entry on the sideblog of American Digest: Check it out.
Your Say
Turn him upside down, drill 5/8" holes 13" deep from the heels up into the calves.
Epoxy a 12" #4 rebar recessed into each hole, mud the openings with epoxy marble dust, sand, stand back up.
I'll do it for $50 plus expenses.

Yeah, tell that to Goliath and ask Big G how critical he was of David's ankles.

There's a lovely Carrerra marble replica right here in the U.S., at the Ripley's in St. Augustine, FL. We could loan it to Italy while Mike's is repaired.
