[Gay] Federal Judge Strikes Down Oregon's Same-Sex Marriage Ban

The endless wave of judicial activism continues in the state of Oregon, where U.S District Judge Michael McShane has just struck down the voter-approved ban on same-sex marriage, reports Fox News.
[And, unlike the other judges, McShane also happens to be one of just nine openly gay members of the federal judiciary, according to the Human Rights Campaign. It's an unusual combination of factors for the 53-year-old jurist, who has served as a federal judge for less than a year. McShane, citing the sensitivity of the case, declined to be interviewed for this story. But friends say they're confident he'll produce a careful decision while setting aside any personal feelings.]

Your Say

A judge for less than a year? Guess he was appointed by the "evolved" Obama.

This ruling came as a shock to absolutely no one. Groups of homosexual activists set up celebration parties across the state long before the judge said anything, knowing 100% for certain how this would come down. Absolutely shameful conflict of interest and lack of judicial ability.

"....setting aside any personal feelings."

LOL, I always get a chuckle out of that one.

Lessee. All women have the title of St. in front of their names, no more stupid Miss/Ms/Mrs (perhaps we could use the Spanish "Sor", naah, too Catholic). There are now seven sacraments: abortion, transgender, and non-heteronormative love. Communion comes with the EBT and the SSDI check. Confirmation is the DREAM act and Federal Student Loans. Holy orders (except for the poverty and chastity bits) are given to government employees. Extreme Unction is when the Death Panels decide your treatment regimen.

Oh, and we got lots of Indians to work the lands surrounding the missions. Whip them when they get surly, send the soldiers to punish them when they revolt. We have auto-da-fé's almost daily now. Indulgences are openly sold.

As is usual, once again our completely corrupt and prostrate Judiciary demonstrates its long-term goal of the destruction of our Constitution. How they must despise and chafe at the greatest document of government ever yet written. Restrictions on government use of our own granted powers to infringe our rights are steadily diminished. The Establishment Clause is now null and void. Powers we granted to the government for the performance of enumerated responsibilities are re-purposed without our consent to secure some rights for some people some of the time. The Blessings of Liberty become ever less as "government interests" become the touchstone of wisdom.

Oh where is our latter-day Martin Luther to ignite the neo-Protestant shit-storm, by nailing the Ninety-Five Theses that proclaim that our Constitution means exactly what it says, and no more? And that we don't need no stinking classes of black-robed Inquisitors, bureaucrat bishops, Congressional cardinals, and a Usurper President to tell us what we are supposed to think and say and do about damn near everything, we can do this ourselves? And we will be free of these wanna-be tyrants who intend to eat out our substance, so molon lane if they dare.

I precisely needed to thank you so much once more. I'm not certain what I would have sorted out without the actual secrets contributed by you directly on such field. It has been the difficult condition in my opinion, nevertheless considering your expert manner you treated it made me to jump for fulfillment. I'm happier for this advice and believe you find out what a great job you're doing teaching many people through your web blog. Probably you've never got to know any of us.

Well, keep it simple. Give that queer judge a good hard punch in the face and bury a size twelve boot up his ass. Oops, he will certainly like that, KY or no KY. Make it multiple punches, 'til he is spitting teeth like Chiclets. He'll thank you for it, it clears away any obstructions that hinder his open-mouth policy.

The voters of Oregon have what they want. They voted for the politician that put this bumboy on the bench.

Kinda late for remorse now.

"Consent of the governed" is not in the Constitution, and therein lies the rub. The Founders thought it "self-evident" that the Constitution would reflect the sentiments of the Declaration of Independence. Those brilliant men made a huge mistake with that one. The Declaration should be enshrined in the Constitution as an amendment, declaring that said Constitution must abide by the spirit and intent of the Declaration. Had that already been the case, judges, right up to SCOTUS, would have found it more difficult to defy the will of the people.

Statists lack the foresight gene that allows them to understand the errors of their ways until such time that error is planted firmly in their ass at which time they beg for assistance. It is at that time they will be dealt a severe BITA and/or PITF.
