"Even billionaires grovel"

Mark Cuban apologizes to family of Trayvon Martin but stands by his other comments on racism views: Unlike ee cummings' "olaf big and glad" there is evidently no shit that Americans won't eat on "race."

Your Say

Yes. Even billionaires. Diderot discussed this in "Rameau's Nephew." Everyone is obliged to "assume a position" towards someone, at some time.

Being afraid of a tattooed thug in a hoodie = racist. Being afraid of the parents of a tattooed thug in a hoodie = not racist.

If you assume the image, you assume the name.

Jessie Jackson made a very similar comment about avoiding black thigs at night with hoodies. To us old folks the hoodie would be something that keeps you warm but yet we see thugs wearing hoodies on warm days. Lets face the fact that the hoodie is the self described disguise of the wanna be thug and to ignore this would be stupid. This only relates to Trayvon because in the effort to scrub him clean the national media tried to blame it allon the hoodie as in that mean old white hispanic wouldn't have followed him except that he was black with a hoodie. But in fact poor innocent Trayvon had two ingredients for his drug of choice and was busy looking for a house to break into inthe hopes of finding the other ingredient. The white hispanic was geting in the way of his larceny and needed to be "taken out". Sothe hoodie wearing innocent Trayvon sucker punched the white hispanic (but it had nothing to do with racism don'tcha know) and then mounted him MMA style and was in the process of delivering multiple concussions when the white hispanic did the unthinkable; he defended himself! Be real, Trayvon was a criminal in training and both his mother and father were looking forward to the day he moved out so they didn't have to deal with him anymore. Sooner or later Trayvon was gonna commit murder, perhaps many murders but his career was cut short by an armed citizen. Zimmerman saved his own life that night but more then likely he saved someone elses life too.

Zimmerman only took out one tray-von. There are millions more and every last one of them need the Zimmerman solution.

I have no pity for Mark Cuban. He helped finance a couple of anti-American movies a few years ago. Screw him.

In a world with even a smidgeon of rationality, it would be Trayvon Martin's parents who should be apologizing ... for the horrible ordeal that George Zimmerman endured because of Trayvon's hyper-aggressiveness

Zimmerman should have sued Trayvon's parents civilly for allowing that snot to grow up the way he did. Throw the onus back on the parents to wear the responsibility 'hoodie'.

Most people only give away what they can afford to do without.

If you look like a crow and talk like a crow and walk like a crow you will be treated like a crow.

Build a fire for a thug and he'll be warm for a day. Set the thug on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

...and the light from the burning thug will illuminate the minds of all who see.

pst: and the center mass of all who need more than a punch in the face. I'm thinking maybe 300 ft-lbs terminal energy.

Mark Cuban: Caring more or confused about reputation vis-a-vis self-respect and dedication to the truth.
When will we hear from the masses of freckled and striped Americans? Hey, here come the laughing hyenas; the joke must be on us!
