Dissing the Kid: Putin on Obama:

a_vladimir-putins-girls.jpg

"Who is he to judge? Who is he to judge, seriously?"
The crowd began to laugh and clap. "If he wants to judge people, why doesn't he get a job in court somewhere?" ..... Then, after a pause, "What is it that interested you about what [Obama] said?" At that point, both the interviewer and the crowd broke out in laughter.

Your Say

Putin is a scumbag mobster ex KGB thug. That said, President Obama is a laughable piece of meaningless fluff to a guy like him... and all the bad guys of the world. Its GOOD to have the bad guys fear you. But one of the primary characteristics of a leftist is the desire to be thought of as a nice guy above all other priorities.

Chris, you're being a bit too genteel in describing being thought of as a nice guy a top priority of the Leftist.
It seems to me that the top priority is to establish unchallengeable power, tyrannical rule.
Witness modern-time Leftists such as Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Islamofascists, and their broods of murderers, torturers, rapists, and mutilators.
American leftists are distinctly less brutal and less obvious in their power-seeking, but their route to rot is apparent to those connecting the dots, milestones, and millstones placed on us, the suffering citizens.
Track the paths of Hugo Chavez, Barack Obama, what's his name Erdogan, and what's his name Morsi recently deposed leader of Egypt -- they sounded reasonable at their starts didn't they?
It's not power that corrupts, it's self-serving intention.

Chris: "Putin is a scumbag mobster ex KGB thug." It is not that simple, to dismiss him that way. He is furthering his agenda and succeeding. You might say, so is Obama. The main difference I see is that Putin will have a country that is not being eaten away from within and the laughingstock of every other nation in the world. I wish Putin was born in Idaho. We'd have lots of energy and a strong economy.

Putin's fine where he is, it's Obama that needs to live in Siberia.

Oh. (light bulb comes on over chasmatic's head) Yeah.

Well the tyrannical bit is a means to an end, not the goal. They don't want to be tyrants for the sake of being tyrants, they want all that power in order to be thought of as good guys by history who did the right thing IF THEY HAVE TO KILL YOU TO DO IT.

Communism was based on Marx' idea that any other way was horrible evil, and the way to fix that was revolution and even eliminating people who got in the way. An unfortunate thing, but in the end its all good so its worth the price to pay - any means to an end.

Its about being thought of by the Correct People© as a good person. Not racist, not sexist, not homophobic, not bigoted; being considered good and kind and tolerant and diverse by historians in the future and elites in the present.

That's their overwhelming desire, and they're willing to do ANYTHING to make that happen.

That's their vulnerability. That's why they freak out and scream running in circles when we point out they're racist. That's why they get violent when you point out they aren't tolerant, how they oppose freedom. Its not the hypocrisy they care about, its being thought of as not the good guy, the high road walker, the most enlightened in the room.

You can't nail the left with Alinsky's tactics because they don't care aobut what we do. The right wants to BE good, not be THOUGHT of as good.
