Where are the young?

They are not in the West. The youth in statistical terms is in the Third World.
We don’t even know what they think. What we take as ‘youth culture’ and the voice of to-morrow are the attitudes of a shrinking cohort cohabiting with the geriatric majority. In that case, it’s the Western old choosing for the global young.”... The Western Left’s biggest lie is that it represents a movement of the young, but it really represent the very old. Their very concerns are geriatric: Marxism, trash recycling, health and safety, public transportation and gossip. Belmont Club » No Country For Young Men

Your Say

That's true, the youth don't really even have a voice. Boomers are speaking at and for them, using media and advertising and entertainment. Honestly I don't think the youth HAVE a voice today, nor do they care to. They're too busy hunched over their electronic device.

Interesting point. If nobody is listening, does it matter what is being said?

I'm so far right that I make William F. Buckley look liberal. Having said that, from what I have seen of the world's youths and knowing how generally immature they are, how little they understand about life, how little they've worked, how little (as in damn near nothing) they've produced or contributed, I'm pretty sure I don't want any of them in control of anything that affects me.

I think I just described your basic pussy headed, social prog, obama supporting minion, too.
