This Just In: Black students disciplined at higher rates than whites

Mystery of mysteries: "Officials say it’s difficult to pinpoint reasons for the disparities." -- Wichita Eagle

Your Say

Can I draw you a diagram?

"Race matters to a young man’s view of society when he spends his teenage years watching others tense up as he passes, no matter the neighborhood where he grew up."

Maybe that is exactly the effect he is striving for.

"I am bad, and they know it. I'm gonna bust a cap in their white asses if they so much as smile."

Stop disciplining them. Instead give them the swim challenge. Out they go, 50 miles offshore, over the side and when they get back to shore they get a pat on the back, told "You da Man"!

That will be a real reason to be the BMOC.

That's easy. It's because they deserve it. I notice they didn't do a blind survey, read all the offences by John Doe and Susie Smith with no descriptions, just the facts.

Cops stop a car travelling at eighty miles an hour wrong way down the street, driver gets out half-drunk and starts shouting, waving a gun around. "You didn't stop me for running nine red lights, uh uh, you stopped me 'cause I'm Black.

Hiding behind his skin like a coward. Punch in the face if the cops didn't shoot him first. Punch anyway, shrug.

So then, black students are not being disciplined at all black schools by all black teachers? In fact, parental discipline in the form of violence is normal in most black families. By the time they are in school it is hard to get their attention without a credible threat, and even with it. But you know what? Send them to all Afro-centric schools and do whatever the hell you want. Just don't shit where I live and call it equality.

Officials want to keep their jobs.
