The Wages of Sin

"From now on when people ask me why I'm a stripper, I'm just going to show them this picture (one day of work- 1130am to 3am).”

Your Say

Wait till the Obama administration finds this out. They will demand she share her "pay" with male stripers who don't get nearly as much as female strippers do. Pay equality! What do we want? Pay equality! When do we want it? Now!

Pffft. That's over fifteen hours. A politician lines their pockets with twice as much in just one fifteen minute meeting. How many quarter hours are there in a day?

Yeah and you can't spend it on anything permanent and useful because you aren't declaring taxes and the IRS nails you on any large purchase. So you end up spending it on bigger boobs and drugs and wonder where it all went.

Christopher, you are thinking of prostitutes, strippers can declare and pay taxes on their income.

By the ratio of 20's to 1's those places have become a lot more expensive than I remember them 30+ years ago.

Are there really people that stupid to put a 20 in the string? No, I don't need to get out more.

Todd, prostitutes can declare and pay taxes on their income also. So can drug dealers, or any black market seller for that matter. The government will take your money, gladly, with or without force, if you're willing to declare it.

They CAN, yes, but most strippers do not, because that means less income and nobody becomes a stripper to make less money. They don't pay taxes, and because they don't they can't make major purchases (car, house, etc) and they have to be careful about how big an account they carry in the bank. Wait staff are the same way, they have a big wad of tips in the dresser drawer most of the time, because what they declare ain't nearly what they pull in on tips.
