She has no business asking that question. Here she is, out in the forest grubbing for free food; suppurating sores all over her, well, at least on her knee, still reeling from the sting of the lash but being allowed to breathe free air. Sheesh, what more do children want these days? To be spoon-fed and feather-pillowed?
