Some people that hire others

-- small business people, other multiple-size corporations, companies -- are gonna say,
"Uh, you know what? We don't want a whole lot of gay people. They're just gonna cause trouble, like this. We just can't have it." There's gonna be a silent reaction. "I don't want this kind of trouble. I've got a business to run here. I can't hire people that are gonna turn my business over to a social cause." -- Rush Limbaugh Show

Your Say

I doubt that will happen at all. Because if they try not to hire homosexuals they'll be targeted for the hate screeds and lawsuits.

More likely: they stop hiring Christians and people who seem to be those who'd oppose anything on the GayKK agenda.

I am a manager in Silicon Valley, have openings, and I am going to personally eliminate any suspected homos. The above is the main reason but the second reason is revenge.

IF ONLY there was a possibility someone on our side would act on their belief I would feel better about the future. No, more likely our side will try to win favor from the commielibs by hiring more gays. But, they will do it and and feel pressured which they will call resistance.

Hire them, then promote them to mop wringers. Get out of the way as they lay rubber to the nearest exit.

I wish we could live in a world where the color of someone's skin or sexual preference, religion or whatever didn't make a different and we judged the person on the person's skills, and ability.

But that isn't going to happen.

I wish folks who cite the impromptu speech of MLK jr., tout Affirmative Action, and claim to cherish "rights", could.

It is the same as hiring the mentally ill. Not a good idea for business.

It is the way people are starting to not hire Muslims.

Posted by: Jewel Atkins at April 9, 2014 8:49 AM

I would definitely avoid hiring someone who was conspicuously Muslim. Just someone whose religion happened to be Muslim, no problem but someone who clearly makes it their life identity and wants the world to know is trouble in the making. Anyone who is an activist is just an employee that is ready to make your life hell in the future no matter what their position is.

Pro life, feminist, black power, Christian Evangelism, whatever it is, I don't want you working for me if your main goal in life is your cause or identity. I want you working for me to do your job, not to advance your cause.
