Bandit Resurrections: Who Was the Real Sundance Kid?

brushy_bill_roberts.jpg

“Brushy Bill” Roberts surfaced with his own bundle of contradictions in New Mexico in 1950, claiming to be Billy the Kid.
He was chaperoned by a lawyer and wanted a pardon, though for what was not clear, as his crimes were seven decades old. The actual Billy had been shot dead in 1881 by Sheriff Pat Garrett. — —The Appendix

Your Say

Am confoozded. Is this suppose to be about Billy the Kid, or The Sundance Kid?

The article mentions several characters being impersonated, Billy the Kid among them. It seems the excerpt for the lead-in was taken at random and does not match the title.

Will the real editor please stand up?
