I still use a P4 with W2k for chip dumping, hex editing etc. It's the only machine I have that I come even close to doing something productive on.

I'm using a Dell P4 with WinXP and have had it for 9 years now, the longest I've ever owned a computer. It has had the BSD twice in the past month so the writing is on the wall.

@Sniper: "Dell P4 with WinXP" ... same machine here as a home server.
It does wonderful LAN things with archival media that we will never see
on our 'smart' phones/tablets.

Where is the 8" floppy drive? However will I edit my Wordstar files?

I wish I had my stuff back that I spent centuries typing on that Wordstar 5.0 that suddenly went obsolete about 1995.

It's hard to become obsolete when the power supply burns up and takes out the hard drive after three years of use.
