Familiarity begets slavery.

Most people don't even realize they are slaves.
I'm a slave and I realise it. I do everything in my power to fight my masters and I hate every intrusion made, but I realise that in many small ways, and sometimes not so small, I am still a slave. I don't know anyone that isn't frankly. The Creeping Theft of Freedom

Your Say

I called Bill Bennett's Morning in America last week (20Mar14), saying the following:

During the last week, my Father-In-Law and I have discussed the Republican Party at great length. We have developed a message, short, sweet, battle tested and proven, which we believe will allow any Republican party candidate to quickly talk to all issues which Republicans and Conservative believe in.

First, a matter of definition:

The word "CAPITALISM" should be banned from Republican conversation.

"Capitalism" has been so twisted and redefined by the left that it no longer reflects what the American economy is, was, or should be about.

Henceforth, all Republicans and Conservatives should comment on what has made America's economy the envy of the world, "FREE ENTERPRISE."
Milton Friedman approves this message.

FREE ENTERPRISE leads to our second and larger point:

The Republican Party should rededicate itself to its founding principles.

160 years ago the Republican Party was founded by anti-slavery activists for one purpose, to oppose SLAVERY. To oppose the Democrat Party.

Today, the Republican Party must rededicate itself the this same ideal, that all Americans, Black, White, Red, Brown, Yellow, Pink--whatever stripe or hue, be free from PROGRESSIVE Slavery.

The Slavery of being beholden to a FEDERAL GOVERNMENT with no way out.

The SLAVERY of the MIND,
to be corrupted through State indoctrination centers, to wear an invisible serf's collar of ignorance, hopelessness, and lack of imagination

The SLAVERY of the BODY,
to be brought low by a tax burden so great, that our grandchildren's grandchildren will work to pay the bill for today's excess.

The SLAVERY of the SPIRIT,
Americans beholden to the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT for all of life's necessities, with no way out of the yoke.

In short, the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has become the new PLANTATION, the president the new SLAVE MASTER.

If the REPUBLICAN PARTY can rededicate itself to the ANTI-SLAVERY principle on which it was founded, then with electoral success in 2014, 2016 and beyond, one day Republicans can quote the great conservative and Republican pastor Rev Martin Luther King, when he said:

"Free at last, free at last, Thank God almighty, We are free at last."
