Who Will Hire the Hangman?

Belgium, it seems, is to offer children with fatal diseases the option of voluntary euthanasia, provided they have “discernment.”
... In the case of children, who discerns the discernment? And will children be put up to asking, will it be suggested to them that they might prefer death to their current condition? It will save time and money if they do. - Taki's Magazine

Your Say

Yes, they're going to "offer" it now, later, not so much.

There was an article in 2010 in the Vancouver Sun, that has mysteriously dropped down the memory hole, which said that half of the Belgian nurses polled who admitted to taking part in the euthanasia of a patient didn't get that patient's consent before doing so.

It is a bad idea to sever the link in medicine between the doctor and patient to do no harm.

Dr Procrustes said you may get off the bed if you agree to be euthanized.

It has happened here in America. New Orleans/Katrina, they didn't know what to do with all the critically/terminally ill patients in a hospital. Moving or transporting them was deemed to difficult or not worth it.

I am sure isn't the only time. Look for more of it, life is getting cheaper.
