Don't get me started on this wretched criminal-justice circus.

One more thing the future will look back and wonder, "What in the hell were they thinking?"

Shitty school system on one end, horrifying justice system on the other, and in the middle 100,000,000 rag dolls trying to stay between the dotted lines.

The odds are overwhelmingly in favor of the criminal being an addict. The article evaded this obvious factor.
