Let's get something straight:Black pride is always laudable and heroic. White pride is always horrific and racist. Celebrating black culture is diverse and cool. Celebrating white culture is lame, pathetic, suspicious. Whiteness is portrayed as a sign of shame: he's so white. I've never thought too much about being proud of my race, but I am from Texas, and that trumps everything. There's a marker for "Texas" in my DNA. I learned to say "y'all" with Mother's milk.

That's just it. I don't have any particular allegiance to my various minor characteristics of hue and so on. I just find it disappointing and distasteful that being proud of one is cheered, and being proud of the other is horrific and hateful. And the only difference between the two is a favored class among the left and a despised class. Not due to any objective, rational standards, but simply the choice of the PC left.
