Our State of Police

270905police_state.jpg

The police escalation that shows up on countless videos exists because the people demanded it.
And the people demanded it because liberal social policies made entire cities unlivable. The militarized police forces out of cities like Los Angeles filtered down to the suburbs and the rural areas as the same policies and populations that made cities unlivable began spreading outward. - - Sultan Knish:

Your Say

And I say again (and again and again and again....)

In the 1920s, International Communism was stalled by the desires of various peoples to maintain their national identities - hence Italian Fascism and National Socialism. Lenin's instinct was overwhelming brutality, but various equally-dedicated Communists proposed other strategies merely as a more-efficient alternative.

Prominent among these was the Italian Antonio Gramsci, author of the oft-quoted-and-virtually-always-misunderstood phrase "The Long March Through The Insitutions." The institutions referred to, contra the usual assumption that he was referring to the Government and the school system and the universities, were in fact the institutions that Gramsci rightly identified as the pillars of any society.

The "Institutions" to be marched through, therefore, were the institutions of Marriaga and Family, National Identity, Social Order, a stable currency, etcetcetc. Gramsci posited that a sufficient erosion of the pillars of a stable society would necessarily esult in chaos - and that the populace would beg for totalitarianism as a means of restoring order.

And here we are now, no more and no less.

Congratulations, sheeple. You have become successful laboratory rodents in the Communist experiment.

I foresee the day when there is an open season on these bloated psychopaths. That season will last about 1 week and all the badged sissy's will go into deep hiding. They only pick on the weak.

Boys, you both hit the nail on the head.

I read Kipling's Grave of the Hundred Head, and I say we should start talking to our oppressors in a language they understand. Thing is, where we gonna draw the line? Who will be the first to resist and get vaporized for his efforts? I am tiptoeing around seditious talk, they looking at all of us and the Kristallnacht is just around the corned. It won't be all neat and tidy like on the bridge at Lexington.

Any rebel organizing will not make it past the first ten men. One will be a rat or a govt agent snuck in. Woe is me, what are we gonna do?

chasmatic, you don't have to be stronger than the beast, you have to be smarter, and that is not hard for ordinary people, but there is a shortage of ordinary people.

You don't have to shoot down F-16's, you have to kill the pilot in his sleep. You don't have to destroy a tank, you cook the contents.

Einstein said, "I don't know how WWIII will be but WW4 will be fought with sticks and stones."

After reading and considering the scenarios, history, and resultant implications presented in "Willing Accomplices", "How Civilizations Die", and "The Beast From Jekyll Island", I'm left with an unshakable sense of pessimism. Although the authors attempted to not leave the reader with a sense of despair, the remedies proffered in each case seemed nearly impossible to achieve. The militarized police departments, detention camps, and the unrelenting drive to abolish the Second Amendment are all pieces of the strategy to control the populace when society splinters and fails. Life is about balance and for the past century we, as a nation, have conducted our economic and monetary policies stupidly. Those chickens will eventually come home to roost. The only question is will that be sooner or later. Couple that with the unceasing, decades-long, efforts of the enemies within our power structures, and I am left bereft of any outcome that will not necessarily involve pain and probably plenty of it. This is what I believe Chastisement is all about. And no, this isn't the Almighty punishing us. We are merely reaping what we have sown.
I'm currently reading "The Report From Iron Mountain." Though written nearly 50 years ago and described as a hoax, it seems damned prescient viz events as they are currently unfolding.
By the way if anyone knows of any reputable books that refute the pessimistic POVs expressed in the aforementioned periodicals please pass the information along. I really need to read them.

ghost, I like the way you think. The next conflict that happens on home soil will be an asymmetrical war. We'll be the equivalent of the little yellow men running around with tire sandals and fish balls in their pockets. All through the history of war we can learn from the smaller homeboys force resisting the leviathan invaders.

A couple long guns would be appropriate and hand-rolled claymores. mm hmm.

Have a peek at Venezuela. That will break down into a dirty civil war which a government cannot win. You cannot put a face on the opposition when they look like you.

They won't come after us with pilots and F-16's but with armed drones and tracked robots. They will send out the militarized police forces with their up-armored donut carriers, but not often and not many. They will try to fight by remote control.

What man can build, man can hack. The next civil war will not be fought with bullets but with bits.

Not that I'm not hanging onto my firearms and edged weapons, it's just that's not going to be the center of the conflict.

And money -- that will be the other battleground.

Posted by: Browncoat at February 18, 2014 8:06 PM

@Browncoat, they will come after you with a letter in the mailbox. That letter will be from the IRS and they will be requesting your presence at an investigation into errors in your income tax reporting. It will seem somewhat innocent until they get you in their building. Their building is the foyer to the state prison. If you do not respond to their letter the SWAT stack will come to you. You see, by making a public example of you, the neighbors will be encouraged to toe the line. Fear is a horrifying weapon amongst nutless cowards.

ghost: After the soft way fails because the mice smell the steel of the trap above the cheese, the hard boys will roll up, cordon neighborhoods and start shoving people onto the busses. Head first or feet first but on the bus. Remember the claims of FEMA camps dotted all over the country? That line of thinking has shifted from paranoid rant to "oh shit, true." Look for the "arbeit macht frei" signs above the gates and the smoke from the chimneys.
