Your Say

These are interesting commentaries, although conspiratorial and riven with false ideas and highly tendentious views of things. This is another thinker who thinks that the main task of history is to determine who to blame for the sorry state of the way things worked out.

Punditarian says it nicely. No amount of balkanizing of the ethnic terrain in The Uke can overcome the fact that they have one border and one flag.

Well, 2 flags; now that the one flying over The Crimea is Russian.

Game. Point.

Strange that he blames NATO or Europe. But no worries Putin is about to make it perfectly clear to the world and the surviving Ukrainians who is in charge and who is not.

I see Putin's talking points everywhere in the media. I say lead, follow or get out of the way. Russia wants a divided Ukraine. I hope The Ukes make a huge fool of him.

Curious Spetznaz operation today in The Crimea...

Oh. In a really, really weird development, John Kerry was seen at the Kremlin gates, throwing Olympic Gold medals back at the Russians in protest. However, they were fake medals.

Author's assumption is that Ukraine belongs to Russia. Historically the Rus came from Kiev in the Ukraine, and then a lot of unpleasant things happened. Some of which came from the West (Crusades) and some of which came from the East (Mongols). Pretty apparent that the Ukrainians don't want anything to do with Putin and co. Now the Russians Stalin installed in Ukraine, may not agree with the Ukrainians. I can certainly do without the author's antisemitism and his denial of Stalin's manufactured famine in the 1930s.

Casey, say what you will about John Kerry, at least he made his money the old fashioned way -- he married it and didn't spend it paying taxes on his fake home ported yacht.
