[Bumped] “While I’ve been a good mother, it’s not a good time for me right now.”

Wendy Davis has no future in politics: The fact that she would either willingly give up custody
or that a judge would deem her unworthy of even joint custody raised alarm bells. Americans will forgive a lot in a politician. But a woman who leaves her kids is just beyond the pale.

Your Say

I don't, anymore, believe in the concept of "beyond the pale". Nothing, it seems, is "beyond the pale". Not the gay porno star high school student, not the use of the IRS to wage war on political opponents, nor any of the multiple outrages that make themselves known to me on a daily basis.
No one pays a price; nothing is done after some initial outcry.
This woman has no more baggage than the alleged Indian Chief Lizzy Warren who managed to get herself elected in spite of massive falsehood and deception.

I don't know about this. Hillary pretty much leaves Bill unsupervised, and she's doing alright.

From stealing firewood in New Hampshire, to the 'Knockout Game', what we are witnessing is the breakdown of society's morals.

Fauxahontas, Octomom, Davis, Obama, Reid, Boehner we.al. are consummate liars. Add the State Owned Media to the list.

ObamaCare is the Law of the Land; so is Immigration Law but that is violated daily on a whim.

No more 'Rule of Law', now it's rule by fiat. Thuggery next followed by revolution. That's if we haven't pussied out and decided to be slaves.

Sarah Palin would like to remind you that women who stick with their kids don't get treated too well, either.

Peccable, we are already slaves.

She OUGHT to have no room for a future in politics, but she's a Democrat, so she'll be fine. She might even win.

Its pathetic, how the left keeps voting for the exact guys they all claim to hate: the liars and power hungry hypocrites they mock in movies and attack in books. President Obama is exhibit A; does everything Bush did that they claimed to hate, and far more, and they love the guy.

I have an extra idea on the story.

How in the bloody blue blazes did the Texas Republicans not find these facts about Wendy Davis long ago?

Are they too stupid, or too lazy, to go to the court house and look at the woman's divorce file and speak to the husband?

Posted by: Fred Z at January 24, 2014 4:01 PM

I had pretty much the same reaction. "Wait a minute, did I read that correctly....she left her babies? For years?? And then gave up custody of both of them???"
I can't stand the person that our President has become, but my heart still aches when I think about a little boy whose parents put a hemisphere between themselves and their child.

She found herself, which is most important.

Texas Democrats are using Wendy Davis as chum. She's too stupid to realize it.

Oh FredZ, dontcha know, in our modern age, all women are Saints.

It's time to ditch the Miss/Ms/Mrs, and put a St. in front. Even the Republican ones. Well, maybe not the crazy Tea Party Witches like Christine O'Donnell.

Because if everything a man does is fair game for ridicule, but for a woman, some things are off limits, then they are Saints.

My sense of outrage burned out through overuse at least twenty years ago. You go, girl!

The real unanswered question that's on everyone's mind about Davis: Did Bill Clinton "do her"?

Posted by: Douglas at January 25, 2014 12:36 PM

No, SHE did him.
She has the gravy stain to prove it.

Posted by: ghostsniper at January 25, 2014 3:06 PM

Considering the cavalier attitude that she exhibited toward her own children, since she had 'more important things to do', one wonders if this 'Abortion Barbie' campaign of hers portrays a regret that she didn't handle her affairs in a more efficient manner.
