NRA to Salute Obama as "The Greatest Gun Salesman of All Time!"

Obama backfires, gun sales in 2013 smash all records
Although he failed to get any of the gun bans or government registrations passed on the federal level, he was successful in one area. His actions convinced millions of Americans to buy more firearms than any time in history. The FBI reported that it performed an astounding 21,093,273 background checks for the year ending Dec. 31. In fact, eight of the top 10 highest weeks ever for National Instant Background Check System (NICS) checks were in 2013 (the other two were during Dec. 2012.)

Looks like a standing army to me.

Yes tripletap, it looks like an outstanding militia to me. It's very close to what our founding fathers envisioned in our Constitution for free men. They knew that power in this world ultimately emanates from the barrel of a gun. Our small town rifle range has gone from about 100 members to now 350 in just three years.

From that article: "The FBI reported that it performed an astounding 21,093,273 background checks for the year ending Dec. 31."
============
I bought 3 last year and no background check was done, nor will I ever have one done again. I will never again ask a 3rd party for permission to purchase anything.

In Florida in 2004, when I had a concealed weapons permit, at a gun store I was denied "permission" by the gov't to purchase a gun and no reason was ever given even though I asked several times. 1 week later I was given permission.

I was one of the *denials* you hear the LIEberals brag about though there was no legal basis for the denial and the denial was reversed a week later.

Everything this gov't has ever touched has turned to shit.

He ain't done yet. Regulations to restrict lead production and bullet making are having their effect. And he's always got his beloved executive orders.
