Before

“Today, there will be people around the country buying marijuana. But only in Colorado will they be buying it in stores like this one.”
It’s still illegal under federal law, of course, but Eric Holder and his boss understand this is one form of federalism their lefty base doesn’t want to see quashed. « Hot Air

Your Say

Making 'drugs' a liberal/conservative thing is a mistake. Freedom to take drugs should be a freedom that ranks right up there with the first and second amendments.

It is appalling that some people swallowed the 1937 Propaganda that drugs are EVIL.

Alcohol and tobacco are worse, yet they are legal.
Making drugs legal doesnt mean that you will be forced to take them, it means less crime, less cop brutality, more freedom.

Prohibition does not work, has not ever worked, will not work. Remember the First Prohibition, 'Thou shalt not eat from the Tree of Knowledge'?

It didn't work

Californians plan to introduce legal pot to Colo. worked pretty good. Now that they are good and stoned the next phase will start. Transgender children right to piss where they wish coming to a School near you, Mexican lawyers trying you and so much more fun Democrat ideology to go with it. Our gift to you. No thanks needed
