Bill de Blasio,

is an Obama-like figure, inexperienced and inept but adored by the Manhattan militants.
He majored in Metropolitan Studies, held fundraisers for the Sandinistas, volunteered as a bandage-roller in revolutionary Nicaragua, organized community "outreaches", passed special privilege laws for the usual suspects and managed Hillary Clinton's senate campaign, more a favor than arduous duty. De Blasio's base consists of fern bar commandos, clueless second-languagers, campus activists, The Diversity and holders of taxi medallions who resent horse drawn tourist carriages. In realpolitik terms he's the near equivalent of a power vacuum. ol remus and the woodpile report

Your Say

He left out the part about De Blasio's being married to a black lesbian.

Almost too easy, isn't it?

"By the situation of the moment, they had concluded that Wesley Mouch was a man of superlative skill and cunning, since millions aspired to power, but he was the one who had achieved it. It was not within their method of thinking to know that Wesley Mouch was the zero at the meeting point of forces unleashed in destruction against one another."

...
Good people don't get involved in politics.

Stupid people vote for people they think are good.

It all comes down to this: the hard left votes for the cleverest campaigner and slickest liar, believing harder than anyone else.

Christopher... and who do the hard right vote for?

Posted by: Potsie at January 31, 2014 10:24 AM

Usually the least experienced person who presents the most conservative arguments the most believably. If you knew any you might be able to ask them yourself.

Close, Potsie, but it's worse than that. Intelligent people who live their own lives in a sensible manner also vote for buffoons and charlatans, and think they've done right by voting so.

Remember, people will often vote based on their conditioning, rather than their instincts. The Left is well aware of this. The Right hasn't a clue about this reality.

Any time I click on an old remus link here I can never find the story.

What's up?

It's the way he sets his page up. You have to scroll and search to find the item. He only updates once a week and when he does it is a number of different items.

Here's a quote I got from Remus. Intended for OB but could easily apply to de Blasio:

It's like being in Caligula's Rome. A half breed faggot of dubious provenance on the throne and toadying grifters running the place. You gotta forgive me, I'm not well ... sometimes I think I've seen too much. I wish Putin had grown up in Boise. – Remus
